It's never easy to fit a set of five battles into one particular title, especially with the always-unpredictable Blue Version battles. Pikachu Adventures fits these battles quite well. Battles 16, 17, and 19 all feature the famous electric mouse in one way or another. An interesting side-note: Battle #16 also would have fit into battles 11-15 easily, since it uses a computer as a Pokémon. This makes a total of 6 consecutive technology-related Poké Battles. Battle #17 stars the trainer Abdul , someone who has more than a few similarities to The Simpsons' Apu, battling an unwelcome Pikachu. Battle #18 is a short battle showing what can happen if you're caught trespassing on a neighbor's property: A Poké Battle. Battle #19 shows a rare instance of Team Rocket doing something right for a change... and they're after Pikachu as usual. Battle #20 is a unique battle that centers around a trainer battling a seizure-inducing anime image on the Internet. Battle #16: Pikazi Challenge September 22, 1999 Setting: Game / Reality Player: Kazi [No Record] So this is my next challenger? Pikachu: Pikapee A Pokémon wants to challenge me? Pikachu: Pika Pika! This is crazy! A Pokémon as a Pokémon trainer! Hahaha! Pikachu wants to fight! Pikachu sent out Missingno! MISSINGNO! What stupid name for a Pokémon is that??!! Missingno is insulted! Kazi sent out keyboard! Take This! Keyboard used Delete! Keyboard missed! HUH! Missingno used erase game! erase game is super effective! I can't believe it! Pikachu: Pika Pika! Keyboard used Letter confusion! Missingno is confused! HAHA! Pikachu: Pika Piko Pikachu withdrew Missingno and sent out Clefable! Pikachu used moon stone on Clefable! Clefable turned into Eatable! ??? Kazi withdrew keyboard and sent out Jedi Novice! Jedi Novice used Mind Control! Jedi Novice forgot to wave his hand and Mind Control failed! Eatable used Swallow attack! Swallow attack??I don't even want to know what that is. Jedi Novice was eaten! Oh great! Jedi Novice is being digested! NOOO! Jedi Novice used Teleport! Jedi Novice got really angry! You shouldn't have done that. Jedi Novice evolved into Jedi Knight! Jedi Knight used Light Saber! Eatable fainted! Kazi Loses! Kazi:WHAT!!?? BUT I....I...I DEFEATED EATABLE! Kazi used Super Kick Gameboy flew into space! END WAIT!!! Don't you wanna know how I lost??? I would. I bet that Pikachu cheated!!! Hello!!!! END Battle #17: A Very Bad Day for Business September 29, 1999 Setting: Game / Reality Player: Abdul [No Record] Webmaster's Choice: Award Winning Battle Pikachu goes inside of a E-Z PokéMART. Pika..Pika..Pi..Pikac..Pikachu! (Translation: Hello) Abdul greets Pikachu! Hey you! You have no shoes or shirt. Please get out or I will call the police! Pikachu gets angry! I don't want any trouble young yellow mister. Pikachu wants to fight! What? Send out your Pokémon! What is a Pokémon? Oh, I remember! Go Burrito! Abdul sent out Burrito! Pikachu sent out Clefairy! Burrito! Use Splat! Burrito gets heated! Enemy Clefairy used SING! It has no effect! That is well. Burrito used Splat! Clefairy gets hot beans in its eyes! It's super effective! Clefairy fainted! Alright! Burrito fainted! What?!?!? Pikachu is about to use Pikachu, do you want to change your Pokémon? Yes! Abdul sent out Mop! Pikachu sent out Pikachu! Pikachu used Thunderbolt! It's super effective! Mop fainted! NOOO! Abdul sent out Abdul. Abdul used Foreign Language! A critical hit! Pikachu used Quick Attack! Pikachu's attack missed! Abdul used Foreign Language A critical hit! Pikachu Fainted! Thank you, come again! Franchise Owner walked in! Franchise Owner wants to fight! Oh No! Abdul sent out Abdul. Franchise Owner sent out Pink Slip! Pink Slip used YOU'RE FIRED! Abdul is Fired! It's SUPER effective! Noooo! Franchise Owner withdrew Pink Slip! Thank You! Battle #18: Trespasser September 29, 1999 Setting: Game / Reality Player: Michael [No Record] MICHAEL got on the bike! MICHAEL fell off the bike! MICHAEL landed in NEIGHBOR'S bushes! NEIGHBOR wants to fight! Oh man! NEIGHBOR sent out BUSH! Go scissors! MICHAEL sent out SCISSORS! Scissors, Cut! Scissors fell asleep! How can a pair of scissors fall asleep?! Enemy BUSH used THORN ATTACK! It's not very effective! NEIGHBOR withdrew BUSH! NEIGHBOR sent out NEIGHBOR! Scissors, return! MICHAEL withdrew SCISSORS! Go, MICHAEL! MICHAEL sent out MICHAEL! Enemy NEIGHBOR used YELL! This always happens!! Enemy NEIGHBOR is YELLING! It's super effective! MICHAEL became paralyzed!! Enemy NEIGHBOR'S attack continues! It's super effective! MICHAEL fainted! NEIGHBOR: That'll teach ya to never mess up my bushes!!! Battle #19: The Day Team Rocket Won October 6, 1999 Setting: Game / Reality Player: James from Team Rocket Red Version battles: 8, 9, 15, 16, R2, R3, 20, 21, T2 Readers' Choice: Award Winning Battle Ooooooh. It's a lovely day to finally snatch Pikachu. Jessie: We'll never get Pikachu. Meowth: We couldn't get Pikachu even if we were ghosts and he was real. Pikachu wants to fight. Jessie:Where did that Pikachu come from? Pikachu:Pikachu chu pika pika(translation:I'm here, so come and snatch me you weirdoes) Jessie and James want to fight. Jessie and James sent out Arbok and Weezing. Pikachu sent out Pikachu. Enemy Pikachu used Thunder. Enemy Pikachu's attack missed. Weezing, Smog attack now. Weezing is loafing around. What!!!!!! This was a perfect time to snatch Pikachu and now you ruin it. Enemy Pikachu used Thunderbolt. The thunderbolt shocked everybody in this battle. Jessie: Arbok, use your wrap attack. Arbok used Glare instead. Pikachu is fully paralyzed. Jessie: Arbok, Poison Sting now. It's not very effective. Team Rocket used pokEball. Pikachu was caught. Do you want to give Pikachu a nickname. No. Let's go to the Pokémon center and heal our newly caught Pikachu. Ash Ketchum is in the Pokémon Center. Ash: What are you doing here Team Rocket? Ahhhhh. It's the brat. To be continued.....
