Uh, as a new (the newest) webmaster, I have a question. When you claim a battle, do ya treat it as blue, or rare (with the obscure link stuff)

I'm not the webmaster but I would place these in blue. Rare battles are supposed to be so good, that's why you hide them

It should be posted as a Yellow Version battle, and the Battle number and author should be included. I have re-posted what I said about this subject a week ago below:

If you, as a Network webmaster, decide to use a battle, please include the Yellow Version battle number with the battle when you post it. For example, on your site it may look like this:

Fan Battle #5: Annoying Jason (March 23, 2000)
Setting: Game / Reality / Anime / Whatever...
Player: Jrcom [No Record]
Original Publication: Yellow Version Battle #1 (3.20.2000)

As you can see, you need not use the full e-mail address of the author, since each user ID on the message board is unique.

Ok, so I hide it in a .html (not the main ones that the public know), then put an obscure (read question below) link to it?

Question:
If the link should be obscure, then how obscure? As in a message which you have to highlight to see (know where the link is), or more or less hidden?

Well, I'm no webmaster, but I think fanbattles/yellow (message board) battles are supposed to go in the fan battles (Blue version) section. Rare battles (on the main site, anyhow) no longer exsist (Rare battles were replaced with these message board battles). Man, I'm smart, aren't I?

Popcorn Man has it figured out - Yellow Version battles are no longer considered rare! Battles that you claim here should be published in the fanbattles section of your site, or your site's equivalent to Blue Version.
